Your attendance at services is more important than the manner of your worship. Please feel free to sit during any part of the service even though others stand or kneel. We realise that our church may not be an easy building to move about in so we are trying to make access better for everyone -
- There is a portable ramp to make it easy to get in at the main door.
- Lighting is adequate and a sound systems has been installed.
- Service books are available in large print.
- There is a toilet in the vestry, but it is not wheelchair accessible.
Please ask Churchwardens if there is anything we can do. For example, it is possible to have Communion brought to you in your pew. Or we would be happy to offer an arm to give you support as you go up to the altar.
The church is always open during the day for private prayer. The Blessed Sacrament is reserved at the High Altar.
Those unable to attend church can receive Holy Communion at home. The priest-in-charge & lay pastoral assistants will also arrange home visits in time of sickness or bereavement and do all they can to help at any time. Confessions are available by appointment
To arrange Holy Baptism, Confirmation, the Calling of Banns, Marriage, and Funerals please contact the Priest-in-Charge
